It sustains us, helps us in multiple activities, and is also a habitat for many living beings. However, we usually make use of the resource without thinking about its exhaustibility. While the planet is two-thirds water, the availability of usable or potable water is low. This scarcity of water is something that people need to take serious note of and work towards establishing water management practices that are sustainable.


There are several reasons why sustainable water management is the need of the hour. Due to these reasons, everyone should take water management seriously, right from the major businesses to individual users. One of the most important reasons why we should ensure sustainable management of water is because it is an essential agricultural resource.
